Georgia Cup 12U Championship
12 AND UNDER: TSF 2027 Black 52, Tri-City Elite 30
In a game between two of the top 12U programs in the state, TSF 2027 Black began the game with an 8-1 run and never lost their lead.
Coming into this matchup, Tri-City was undefeated and TSF had lost one game prior to the championship. It seemed like TSF took that loss personally and took it out against Tri-City as every single person on TSF's roster scored in the championship game.
Point guard Rylan White led TSF with 14 points while David Williams, Braylon Carter, and Nigel Newkirk all added 10 points each. This team can attack and beat you in a number of ways. These are all kids that will be fun to watch as they continue to develop and enter high school.
The score does not show the fight that Tri-City showed. After being down big in the first couple minutes of play, they locked in on defense and got and caused a ton of turnovers which resulted in layups in transition. Big man Jatori Williams is an absolute stud that dominates the boards and can throw a full court pass on a dime. He led Tri-City with 12 points and Mook Benson added eight.
