Zyon Smith, 2024, Guard: In a group of young, high-potential guards, Smith was as promising as any of them. He’s a crafty guard with a smooth-looking shot. He picks his spots to be aggressive, and he knows when to kick the ball to an open teammate. He has room to grow, but there’s a lot to love about his game. 

Tahshaun Frasier, 2024, Guard: Frasier is an absolute pest on the defensive end. He’s so difficult to shake because of his quickness. Frasier isn’t the biggest guy on the court, but he’s deceptively bouncy. Don’t be surprised to see him sky above the trees to grab rebounds or throw down dunks. 

Jordan Riley, 2022, Guard: Riley is one of those players that isn’t the best at one particular thing, but instead, he’s good at everything. He can fill any role that he needs for his team to be successful. He has a great feel for the game that allows him to get open shots for teammates, put himself in a position to score, and be a terror on defense. 

Ryon Reed, 2023, Guard/Wing: Reed is a versatile player that can fill multiple spots on the floor. He’s a floor spacer that can shoot the lights out. In transition, Reed whizzes by his opponents and glides right to the basket with ease. 

Brett Wright, 2024, Wing: Wright has a tremendous upside. He was gifted with solid size and athleticism, and he’s developing the skill to round out his game. Wright excels in transition, he’s got a nice mid-range game, and he can be a knockdown shooter. Some of his best attributes come on the defensive end where he uses his timing and feel for the game to block shots and generate turnovers. 

DeAndre Flowers, 2024, Guard: Flowers is a smaller guard, but he’s so quick and athletic that it’s difficult to keep him from getting to his spots on the floor. He has the potential to be a lockdown defensive player because he has quick feet and good instincts. He’s a younger player that will continue to get better and better as he develops.

Ashton Patterson, 2023, Guard: Patterson plays a physical, tough style of ball. He’s a brick wall on defense and makes life difficult for his opposition. On the other side, Patterson is such a skilled scorer at all levels. Because teams have to respect his ability to get buckets, they often leave one of his teammates open, and Patterson uses his exceptional passing skills to feed those guys the ball. 

Jaiden Glenn, 2024, Guard: Keep an eye out for Jaiden Glenn. He’s a highly-skilled guard that still has plenty of developing to do. Jaiden can score in a variety of ways, but he’s especially good when he’s driving to the basket. 

Gavin McLain, 2023, Center: McLain is a natural leader. He’s vocal on both ends of the floor, and he’s the first to congratulate a teammate on a nice play. Gavin has good size to bang around in the post. When he establishes position, he’s a force on the glass.
