Elite Preview, team 4 evaluations

Suwanee, GA -Our HoopSeen Elite Preview was held this past Sunday with loads of talent from the region in the 2023 and 2024 classes. Here are our team 4 evaluations.

Keishawn Hampton, 2023, PG - Hampton really got after on the defensive end on Sunday. He’s got great foot speed and was a pest any time the ball was in his matchup’s hands. He’s got a decent form on his shot and once he sees a few go down, he can certainly get on a roll.

Noah Melson, 2023, CG - Melson is a very capable defender with his lanky frame. He can knock down down the three and plays well in the pick and roll. He knows how to play off the ball and world to get open so other guards can find him. Nice little step-back jumper in his arsenal.

Riccardo “RJ” Johnson, 2023, PG - Listed as a point guard, Johnson has the size and strength to get to the rim pretty much any time he wants to. He’s a solid defender and sets the table for his teammates, which many of them appreciated.

Izzy Miles, 2023, PG - Miles has a great feel for the game offensively. He as a good mix of moves and plays well off screen and rolll action. He can come off of them and get to the bucket but is also comfortable coming off and shooting the three.

Jackson Sousa, 2023, PG/SG - Sousa is small but he can certainly play. He showed that he can knock down the three and create plays for his teammates off the dribble. Hustles hard and gets after it on defense.

Cornelius Brown, 2024, PG - Brown is a shifty PG who can get past defenders off the bounce. He's got a nice feel for the game and makes great passes, setting up a few of his teammates for nice alley-oops. He brought good energy and effort to both ends of the floor.

William Jobe, 2024, W - Was one of the better rebounders throughout the day here at our Elite Preview. Gets good position down low and goes up high for rebounds. Alters some shots with his length and timing as well.

Peyton Marshall, Tahj Johnson, and Saulamon Evans were named as our top performers. To read more about their performance, click on their profiles below.
