JSI Elite Black rolls to #BamaJam 14U championship win
JSI Elite Black claimed the 14U division championship of the Bama Jam on Saturday, as they pulled out a win over Tri-City Elite by a score of 70-58 to close out the event. Both teams went back and forth and received production from everyone during the full duration of the game, but JSI was able to pull away late for the win.
JSI's two-point half-time lead began to balloon as the game came to a close.
Ty Davis capped off an impressive weekend with 24 points to lead JSI in the championship game. His combination of size, savviness, and basketball IQ make him a prospect to watch as he enters the high school ranks. Jordan Edwards and Tristan Gilmore added in 10 points and 9 points respectively.
Tri-City Elite battled from start to finish to end their weekend. Big man JaMariion Palm is another intriguing young player to keep track of in there future. His presence was felt on the defensive end of the floor during all of the Georgia-based team's games this weekend.
Jalen Hall scored 15 of his 17 points in the second half to lead the way for his team in defeat. T.J. Coleman and Sidney Atkins both pitched in with 14 points of their own.
