Johnson coming home, Dekalb County native commits to UGA

KD Johnson is coming home. The former Southwest Dekalb guard is now at Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia for his senior season but he’s ready to come back to the place where he is most comfortable.

The class of 2020 guard announced his commitment to the University of Georgia on Monday afternoon.

Johnson joins Norcross forward Josh Taylor and Eastern Florida State college teammates Jonathan Ned and Mikal Starks in the incoming recruiting class.

Johnson is a terrific on-the-ball defender and a dynamic athlete in the open floor. The Dawgs have actively been involved in his recruitment for quite some time. He also strongly considered Jacksonville State.
