2019 North Carolina HoopSeen Fall Preview: Team 1

Our North Carolina Fall Preview camp is in the books and our staff of evaluators and coaches have gone through their notes of every player in the camp. Every. Single. One. Today we look closer at Team 1 from camp.

KJ Richardson, Harding University, 5-9, PG, 2020 (pictured): The 5-foot-9 guard out of Charlotte impressed our staff with his speed in the open floor, his ability to make the tough pass and hit the open three. Richardson does a really good job of executing the pick and roll. One of the better defensive showing from a prospect at the camp. The senior guard was vocal and will be a big part for Harding University this upcoming season.

Tyrone Hardy, Charlotte Christian, 6-1, PG, 2023: The 2023 prospect showed the ability to make some shots from the outside. He was a strong defender and knew where to be on the floor at all times. The 6-foot-1 guard has the athleticism and knack for scoring that is going to make him a player that we keep on our radar over the next three years.

BJ Morris, West Forsyth, 6-4, Wing, 2021: Hailing from the school with an alumnus that is arguably the best point guard to ever come out of North Carolina, Morris understands what it means to play at West Forsyth in Winston-Salem. The 6-foot-4 junior is at his best when he is attacking the basket and really impressed with his rebounding ability for his size.

A number of Team 1’s players were named to our top performer reports.
