Winthrop lands a commitment from in-state forward, Kelton Talford

One of our top independent team members is off the board as Carolina Pressure forward Kelton Talford has committed to Winthrop University. Talford was one of the fastest rising players on our HoopSeen circuit as he ended the April evaluation period with a handful of offers under his belt. July was much of the same as his play at our Best of the South attracted more attention for programs across the southeast. Ultimately, it was Talford's comfort level with the program and its proximity to home that shaped his decision.

This marks back to back commitments for Pat Kelsey as they received a verbal pledge from Grayson wing Toneari Lane yesterday.
