With the summer now over and students all enrolled and in school for their senior years, it is time for us to update our post-summer rankings for South Carolina's 2020 class. We dive into it all. 

While the head man PJ Hall of South Carolina's 2020 class, hasn't changed in quite some time, the departure of Keenan's Dillon Jones has created a void in the top 5 of the class.

The rise of Javon Benson and Kelton Talford has been well documented by our staff but Patrick Iriel stole recent headlines with his commitment to Frank Martin’s South Carolina Gamecocks. Jalen Deloache’s move from Gray Collegiate to Berkmar (Ga.) caused another shift in the top ten, leaving room for others to creep up further into the rankings.

Biggest Stock Risers

Outside of those players in the top 5, no one helped themselves more this summer than Dorman forward Justin Amadi, Travelers Rest guard Case Roach and Orangeburg Wilkinson’s Jahnarious Snell. . While there may be more potential in other prospects, all three  have routinely produced in any stage they have played on.

Whale Branch forward Nicholas Pringle could be the best unknown prospect of the class given his size, skill and long term projection. The South Carolina individual camp is where Pringle made his mark in our rankings. 

New Addition

6-foot-7 Zaire Rogers who spent this spring/summer playing with The New Jersey Playaz has transferred to Grays Collegiate in Columbia, South Carolina. He comes into the rankings at #4. The highlight reel dunker has an offer from St. Peter’s University.  His recruitment should start to catch a southern flair with his athleticism and size at the wing position.
