One on one with Caleb Murphy, one of the hottest prospects in the nation

LADERA RANCH, CA - The streak is daily. At least it feels like it is. Caleb Murphy’s scholarship offers almost seems like it happens every day. The class of 2020 guard from the Atlanta Celtics and Grayson (GA) High School has been one of the hottest prospects in the country this summer.

Scorching hot.

Murphy’s play has caused coaches from nearly every corner of the country step up and offer him a free education and a spot on their basketball team.

He’s pumping in points at a constant clip and was a huge factor in the Atlanta Celtics 17U championship run in Hoover, Alabama last week.

Life is good for the rising star right now. On Thursday on opening day at the adidas Gold Finale, he was outstanding once against Basketball University of out Texas. He was making big-time plays at the rim and playing off his talented teammates.

We caught up with Murphy here at the Ladera Sports Complex and talked about his growing recruitment.
