Scoot Henderson’s Stock Is On The Rise
Scoot Henderson was already known on a lower level as a good point guard for the Kell Longhorns after playing in several Hoopseen events and making the all-tournamen team at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions. However, his recruitment exploded at the NCAA Georgia Team Camp this past weekend.
Henderson’s breakout game came against notable recruit Deivon Smith and the Grayson Rams when Henderson had a double double with 16 points and 10 rebounds and played absolutely fearless throughout the game. Henderson’s driving ability was unmatched and his level of heart was on display for numerous Power 5 college coaches to see.
Whats even more impressive is that he’s only a rising sophomore in high school. This intriguing reality ultimately resulted in Scoot’s first Division 1 offer from Ole Miss which was later followed by offers from Florida, Florida State and Georgia Tech all of whom were in attendance for his game against Grayson. With 3 years left of high school basketball eligibility, the sky is the limit for Henderson’s high school career and potential college destination.
