Introducing the HoopSeen South Carolina rankings
The state of South Carolina has always been a sleeper state of talent. The class of 2015 and 2016 have national recruits atop the state lists while the depth plays out from top to bottom with talented mid and low-major prospects.
DOUBLE TROUBLE AT THE TOP OF 2015
P.J. Dozier and Tevin Mack were easy choices at the top. Dozier, no stranger to our events at Suwanee Sports Academy, has proven himself as one of the nation's top point guard prospects. The 6-foot-6 senior from Spring Valley comes in at No. 1 overall in 2015.
Close behind Dozier is Mack, a 6-foot-6 wing from Dreher High School. Mack is one of the nation's elite scorers in the class of 2015 and should be considered one of the best long term prospects in the Southeast.
Recent Middle Tennessee State commitment Karl Gamble of A.C. Flora comes in at No. 3 overall. The 6-foot-8 post could prove to be a major score for Kermit Davis and the Blue Raiders. He's athletic and still far from his prospect ceiling.
Available senior Gage Ellis of 22 Feet Academy is our No. 4 overall player in the class of 2015. He was an anchor for the widely successful Carolina Raptors Elite. The 6-foot-4 do-everything guard is one of the top mid-major prospects in the South.
Furman commitment Andrew Brown rounds out the top 5. The big guard (6-foot-4) was an important local recruit for Paladins head coach Niko Medved and company in 2015.

The class of 2016 in South Carolina is paced by one of the more entertaining players in the South in Seventh Woods of the Hammond School. The explosive 6-foot-1 guard leads the way in South Carolina's junior class. He's a show wherever he travels and continues to add pieces to his athletic offensive attack.
Close behind at No. 2 on the rankings is 6-foot-7 forward Jordan Bruner of Spring Valley. Bruner has shined at our events over the years and continues to make steady strides in his progression as a top combo forward prospect in the South.
Checking in at No. 3 is Woods's teammate Chevez Goodwin. The 6-foot-7 post player is emerging onto the scene. He played well with Team Power over the course of the summer and proved himself as one of the more intriguing prospects in the state.
