Wilridge chooses UGA on visit
It didn't take long during his official visit for 2015 Beaumont (Tex.) Central wing E'Torrion Wilridge to give his commitment to Mark Fox and the Georgia Bulldogs.
The 6-foot-5 wing officially visited the Georgia campus this weekend, and by Saturday, he was sold on what the Dawgs had to offer. The Georgia staff's perseverance ultimately won Wilridge over.
"It was because of my relationship with the coaches. They were one of the first schools to recruit me," Wilridge told HoopSeen.com. "And when I got hurt last season, they didn't stop recruiting me like some of the other schools."
From an on-court perspective, Georgia has a lot to offer, too.
"They hardly have any wing players, so I have a chance to play as a freshman."
Wilridge chose Georgia over offers from Oklahoma, Lamar, Rice, and New Orleans.
He joins Athens native Will Jackson as commitments for 2015, with the chance of also bringing in Tevin Mack and Jaylen Brown.
