Three breakout Tennessee players from the 2019 HoopSeen #ATLJAM
With a stage like the Atlanta Jam, there are bound to be players who take their games to the next level at the right time. These three players from the state of Tennessee took full advantage of the NCAA Live Period, according to our staff.
Tariq Daughton, Tennessee Bobcats, SG: Athletic guard had himself quite the weekend at the Jam. He showed he could knock down open jumpers and was excellent in the open floor finishing at the rim with either hand. His defense was a staple and he quickly turned heads with his quickness and length. This will be a massive summer for the Knoxville product.
Dusty Williams, Tennessee Tigers, F: Long and sleek this Nashville area product came into the event feeling poorly but his effort would beg to differ. Proved to be one of the more consistent shooters throughout the weekend, he played with energy and despite being a bit under the weather he competed and never let up. Tough finishes and aggressive defense made him a must watch.
Daniel Loos, Team WHBH, F (pictured above): Undersized post was a joy to watch as he battled inside against far larger players. A workhorse on the interior, he fought and held his own bringing down tough caroms and using his footwork and creative ball fakes to score on the block. High IQ is his calling card. He will need to add some perimeter work to his resume.
