Cacok commits to UNC-Wilmington

After taking visits to several southern schools this summer, Devontae Cacok decided to end his recruitment Sunday night by committing to UNC- Wilmington and coach Kevin Keatts.

“It just felt like the right place,” Cacok said.

Cacok becomes the second member of Seahawks recruiting class joining shooting guard Mark Matthews out of Florida.

The 6-foot-6 power forward from Alpharetta (GA), who earned honorable mention all-tournament honors at the Best of the South this July, also had offers from The Citadel, Chatanooga, Gardner-Webb, VMI, Tennessee Tech, and UNC-Ashville among others.
