Three top overall 14U performers from the HoopSeen Tip-Off

The 14 and under division at the HoopSeen Tip-Off gave us a peek into the future. Which three players stood out the most? We asked our staff and these guys jumped off the scouting notepads.

Isaiah Collier, TSF Mack: He was one of the best guards I saw in the entire event regardless of age group. The class of 2023 guard was a scoring machine in the 14U field and helped pilot his club to an unblemished record. Collier has quick hands on defense that turned steals into offense. His ball-handling and speed to the rim is terrific. There is a confidence to his game that allowed him to do just about whatever he wanted on the hardwood. Get ready to hear more about him on a regular basis moving forward on the hardwood. - Justin Young

Jordan Vick, Team Trezz (pictured above): I have heard a lot about Vick from some of my basketball friends on the east coast of North Carolina and he did not disappoint in my first time putting my eyes on him. He is a smooth guard that makes the game look easy, he doesn’t get in a hurry and doesn’t make mistakes. A natural scorer that understands the game. Did I mention he is in seventh grade and was playing up a year this weekend? - Justin Byerly

LT Overton, TSF Mack: I loved watching a true big man in LT Overton dominate the paint over the weekend. He’s got a high motor and knows exactly where the ball is coming off of the rim. In addition to grabbing every board in sight, Overton’s footwork got him a ton of buckets down low. I watched him go for 27 points in a game where the opposing team simply couldn’t find someone who could match his size and speed. Overton will surely be an exciting player to look out for in the solid class of 2023. - Bre Singleton
