Three top overall 15U performers from the HoopSeen Tip-Off
The 15 and under division was anchored by great guard play at the 2019 HoopSeen Tip-Off. We asked our staff to identify the three best players from the 15 and under division. Who made the cut? This trio did.
Bruce Thornton, TSF Mack 2022: He plays a grown man game. And at the 15 and under level, it is hard to slow down that kind of action. Thornton was a consistent stud for the scariest team in the 15U division over the weekend. He’s one of several players who will open some eyes down the road but on this particular stage, Thornton played like a high-major prospect game in and game out. Very good showing from the guard. - Justin Young
Jalen Forrest, Team Forrest (pictured above): Another weekend, another strong performance from the well-built power guard. Forrest finished the event with a loud 37-point performance as his team went 4-0 at the event. He’s charging into the spring as one of the hottest prospects in Georgia’s 2022 class. Forrest is big, strong and tough to guard as he powers to the rim. - Justin Young
Taylor Groves, EAB Tennessee: A player to watch out of Tennessee’s class of 2022 will be point guard Taylor Groves. Standing at about 6-1, Groves has great vision in the open court and the ability to make plus for his teammates. He can finish through contact well, and has an improving midrange game. Running with EAB, Groves is sure to make some noise this summer. - Bre Singleton
