Two visits down, official visit on horizon for Porter
Terence Porter, Jr. caught the attention of recruiters this summer with his play as a member of the Smyrna Stars.
The former Grayson (GA) wing forward is an intriguing prospect because of his high ceiling and terrific 6-foot-7 frame. Now at The Skill Factory Prep in Atlanta, Porter is preparing for the next move in his basketball career.
Porter, Jr. has been to Charleston Southern and UNC Asheville for unofficial visits this summer. He has an official visit planned for Charleston Southern, a school he has already been to, scheduled for Sept. 6-8.
To date, Porter said he holds offers from Charleston Southern, UNC Asheville and Florida International while Campbell, Charleston, Georgia State, Radford, Kennesaw State, Troy, Samford, Jacksonville State, Jacksonville and UT Martin are also in the mix.
“I plan to make a decision on October 1st and sign in the fall,” he said.
