13U Championship: North Alabama Stars Elite 58, Cotaco Indians 28

The North Alabama Stars Elite cruised to a 58-28 win over the Cotaco Indians on Saturday night to claim the Gulf States Cup I 13U championship.

Trace Duskin led the Stars with 15 points, while Kiah Key pitched in 13.

Xavier Toney and Kolin Owen paced Cotaco with 9 points each.

14U Championship: Pro One Select Navy 87, Pro One Select White 67

Pro One Select Navy 14U opened up the travel season by capturing a championship at the Gulf States Cup I in Huntsville on Saturday. They defeated the Pro One Select White by a score of 87-67 to bring home the championship.

Jacob Hendrick hit three 3’s on his way to 23 points for a game-high in the victory. Ben Brookman added 14 points.

Logan Patterson led the way in the loss with 14 points. Jonah Williams scored 13.

15U Championship: Pro One Select Navy 79, MC Warriors 75

The Gulf States Cup 15U championship game was back and forth contest between Pro One Select Navy and the Madison County Warriors. Both teams exchanged leads throughout the game.

In the end, Pro One Select Navy was able to pull away down the stretch and take home the championship. Brody Peebles led Pro One with 32 points while Landon Williams added 21.

Evan Smith led the MC Warriors with 18 points. Tyrese Elliott was also impressive during the game and throughout the tournament.
