Team 4 standouts from our senior showcase

Lorenzo Anderson, Miller Grove

Anderson came into Sunday as one of the most talked about players in attendance and he showed flashes of why throughout the day. The 6-foot-2 combo guard has a calm, smooth game. He showed off several of his strengths, including slashing and passing. Anderson's versatility in the backcourt makes him an intriguing option for college programs.

Brandon Favors, Westlake

At 6-foot-8, Favors was one of the most intimidating prospects in the paint. With his length and size, the senior disrupted several shots around the rim and caused problems for opposing players. Favors did the majority of his damage in the paint, where he finished at the rim and also kept the defense on its toes with some fadeaway lay-ins.

Ta'San King, South Gwinnett

King was one of the most productive players in attendance. The 6-foot-7 forward did just about everything he could do on the floor. He rebounded his area well, defended, and was a vocal leader for his team. King also distanced himself with his constant, upbeat motor. He's one to keep an eye on for Division II programs. - Garrett Tucker

Isaiah Magee, South Forsyth

Built like a running back, Magee constantly got by defenders and made plays in the lane. With his strong frame and explosiveness, he was also good around the rim, where he could power through other players and big men. - Garrett Tucker

Byron Wilson, Dacula

Wilson checks just about every box on the paper. The 6-foot-2 guard is versatile and does whatever is needed from his team. The bowling ball guard was tough with the ball in his hands and kept defenses on its heels with drives. He also showed a high IQ, making him a valuable utility player. - Garrett Tucker

Nyjel Bacon, Lanier Co.

Coaches that like players that can switch on the multiple positions and handle there own should take a look at Nyjel Bacon. He took a ton of pride in his ability to get stops on the defensive end. Offensively he made the most of his attempts by shooting a high percentage from the field. - Tai Young

Jackson Baylark, Pope

Jackson's blend of size and strength allowed him to finish several layups at the rim. In transition, he caused problems as he was able to get a rebound and push the ball end to end with ease. At 6'4 he was able to switch on to bigger offensive players and hold his own. - Tai Young

Jordan Perkins, Drew High School

Jordan played bigger than a 6'1 guard throughout the day as his ability to get to the rim didn't go unnoticed. He possesses a good deal of athleticism and his strength allowed him to bully some smaller defenders. - Tai Young

Khaeem Yisrael, Eagles Landing

The consistency of Khaeem's scoring at both the rim and behind the arc allowed him to keep defenders off balance. The variations of moves he used allowed him to get a good amount of separation and from there he was able to shoot the ball very well from outside. - Tai Young

Travis Johnson, Tri-Cities

Tough as nails is a perfect phrase to describe the Tri-Cities guard. He ran the ship with a steady hand, directing traffic and setting up his guys along the way. Schools looking for a grinder should stop here. - Tai Young
