Live Summer Festival spotlight: Will Richardson
Will Richardson is one of the country’s best point guards in the class of 2018 and his play continues to prove that belief even more.
He’s off to a hot start this July.
“The travel season is going really good,” Richardson said. “I’m playing pretty well. If I’m scoring 17 points a game but move the ball around and make my team better in that game then I’m good.”
Richardson said he will more than likely end up at Oak Hill or Huntington Prep for his senior season after a stellar run at Liberty County.
“I don't have any favorites and I’m just kind of taking it all in right now,” Richardson said. “I’ll probably get it down to eight or 10 schools soon and look at some visits.”
While there aren’t any favorites at the moment, there are teams that have actively been recruiting him. Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida and Ohio State (the staff was when they were at Butler) have been in there from the get go.
“I think I played really well at the Peach Jam,” Richardson said.
He did. And since then, Virginia and Miami have offered. Coaches from Tennessee and Oregon were on hand, too, in the E1T1 game against Upward Stars at the Live Player Showcase.
