#Gibbons Spotlight: Brandon Younger
2018 Wheeler (GA) wing Brandon Younger had an impressive weekend at the 2017 HoopSeen Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions. The versatile, 6-foot-6 wing was one of the focal points for Game Elite.
Younger was extremely impressive Friday night as he utilized his size, length, and versatility to be a terror on the floor. The rising senior competed on both ends of the floor and was a nightmare defensively because of his ability to guard multiple positions. He also did a nice job of creating opportunities for his teammates with his slashing ability.
Word spread pretty quickly about Younger's productive weekend. He picked up a scholarship offer from Florida Gulf Coast Saturday afternoon. He outlined his recruitment Friday night, too.
"I have offers from Stetson, Tennessee Tech, Mass, Rice, and Middle Tennessee State," Younger told HoopSeen.com.
With the school year almost complete and June available to take visits, Younger plans to make the most of hi free time. He expects to visit two programs over the next month.
"I'm planning on visiting South Alabama and Rice during June. I want to see both of them."
Younger is one of Georgia's biggest high-ceiling prospects on the perimeter in 2018. If this weekend is any indication, he is beginning his ascent upward, just as many expected from him as a younger player.
