#ATLJAM 15U Champs are crowned

15U BLACK: EOTO 45, CHEROKEE SPURS 35

Behind terrific guard play, EOTO claimed the 15U Black championship game on Sunday afternoon, as they defeated the Cherokee Spurs 45-35.

In a neck-and-neck and competitive game throughout, EOTO was able to pull away in the last five minutes of the game. Tevon Summers scored nine of his 12 points down the stretch to help the cause.

However, the most impressive player on the floor for EOTO was point guard Javonte Thomas. The 5-foot-11 guard got to the basket at will, where he scored or dished off to teammates for easy buckets. He led EOTO in the championship game with 15 points.

The Cherokee Spurs ended a successful weekend with 11 points from Ross Shephard. Myles McGee contributed seven points of his own. - Garrett Tucker

15U GREY: TREASURE COAST TITANS 42, MONTGOMERY FIRE 28

The Treasure Coast Titans rode the strong guard play of their backcourt to claim the 15U Grey bracket championships.

Jaylen Bembry scored 14 points and hit three three-pointers to lead his team in scoring in the victory. Fellow guard Jero Brown scored eight. Kyle Kimmel added six.

Montgomery Fire was paced by Tyquan Rawls (12 points) and Jalen Taylor (8 points) in the championship game. - Justin Young

15U ORANGE: MIDDLE GEORGIA BUCKS 59, TENNESSEE HEAT 51

The 15U Orange Championship slated the Tennessee Heat against the Middle Georgia Bucks. Briston Bennett and Darrius Bell’s scoring set the tone for the Tennessee Heat. The duo combined for 20 1st half points.

The Heat took a 27-18 lead into the half.  The Bucks fought back to begin the second half behind the strong play of Gaven Sands and Jacobi Edenfield. Gaven Sands scored five straight points to give the Bucks their first lead of the game with 2:39 to play. The Bucks tighten up their defensive effort late to secure the victory.

The Middle Georgia Bucks defeated the Tennessee Heat 59 to 51.
