Vassell starting to catch on with recruiters

Wiry 2018 wing Devin Vassell is on the verge of cementing himself as a D-I prospect.

At 6-foot-4, Vassell has the length and skill set to effect games on both sides of the floor. He paced Peachtree Ridge High School in scoring as a junior, averaging 13 points per game to go with his 4.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals.

Dartmouth and Mercer have shown interest while Furman came in to see Vassell last Friday. North Florida and Stetson are Vassell’s lone offers.

He says he is comfortable at the combo guard position and is willing to play wherever coaches ask him to at the next level.
