Buffen's recruitment ready for the next level

KJ Buffen will be a popular player at the end of April when college coaches can evaluate players in game situations. The 6-foot-7 forward from Gainesville (GA) High School will suit up for Nike Team Florida on the Nike EYBL circuit.

The all-state performer is a popular player already with college recruiters. He's one of the most impressive versatile forward in Georgia's 2018 class.

Buffen said he is holding offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida Gulf Coast, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, Tennessee Tech and Western Carolina.

Oklahoma, Florida State, UConn, Florida, Auburn and Texas Tech have shown various amounts of interest, too, he said.
Coaches from Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Georgia State and Florida Gulf Coast have all been in to see him during his junior year, Buffen said.
