Hart puts cap on monster season with commitment
Isaiah Hart had one of the best senior seasons in Georgia across all classifications. He was one of the few players that could single-handedly take over a game.
There every step along the way was Loyola Maryland. The Patriot League school was the first Division I school to offer him and they never let up. That persistence paid off as Hart committed to the program on Monday.
“When I took my visit up there, they made it extremely comfortable for me,” Hart said.
He was actively courted by Western Carolina and Coastal Carolina, too. A host of other programs flirted around after his big games against some elite powers.
Hart was a first team all-state selection in Class A after his stellar season at Whitefield Academy. He averaged 26.9 points a game this season.
Don’t be surprised to see Hart develop into an All-Conference level player for head coach G.G. Smith and staff during his college career.
