The Georgia Xclusive 2021 team made it to the 14 and under division of the 2017 Super Regional because the team leaned on its depth, size and skill at each of the positions on the floor. 

That recipe for success didn’t change on Sunday afternoon in a convincing 65-48 win over Team Hornets (SC) to claim the 14 and under championship. 

The Xclusive have enjoyed quite a bit of success at HoopSeen events over the years and their run to the gold championship trophy with balance. Madison Durr was the team’s leading scorer with 13 points. Devon Cottle scored 10 points. Donald Davis and Khalil Spooney each scored eight in the win. Brandon Stoudamire, Julian Nixon and Decari Collins each scored six points. 

Team Hornets had a great showing from big man JQ Jones, who was an easy all-tournament selection. The big man scored 16 points and did a little bit of everything all weekend long. Guard Rock Hodge scored a game-high 19 points. Stratford Daniel scored six points.
