One of the top names from the state of Florida out of the junior class, Michael DeVoe has begun to see an uptick with his college recruitment. A 6-foot-3 guard that can play various spots in the backcourt and has the grades that enable for a variety of higher level academic programs to track, the Sunshine State is trending in the right direction as he enters his upperclassmen years of high school play.

Bringing good size into the backcourt where DeVoe is actually best used on the ball as a jumbo facilitator and playmaker as he rarely turns the ball over yet racks up a number of assists, there is always a need for someone like the West Oaks product. A super shifty driver of the basketball with a go-to perimeter jumper and an improving physique, while he may not be within our 2018 HoopSeen Top-100 Rankings just yet, expect for his name to pop up during the next update thanks to his recent progressions.

Trending to be the go-to weapon for the Each 1 Teach 1 program next summer, schools have begun to prioritize the 6-foot-3 lead guard out of the state of Florida. After receiving an offer from Georgia Tech on Friday, DeVoe gave insight on where things stand at the current moment. “I hear the most from Oklahoma, Wake Forest, Stanford, UCF, FGCU, and Miami,” the junior guard stated.

With a variety of programs now involved for him, DeVoe spoke further on what he might be looking for in a college program. “Just the coaching staff giving me the opportunity and a place that will develop me to be a pro,” he said. “I haven’t been able to visit anywhere but I am looking to catching some games this season but haven’t decided which ones yet,” the playmaking junior stated in regards to possible visits ahead.

While the process is now just heating up and after another offer from an ACC program, look for DeVoe, with the talent and size in tow, added in to the fact that the 2018 class is a down year for point guards, for the E1T1 product to be a heavily tracked and wanted recruit in finishing out his high school playing career.
