Georgia Fall Preview: Team 11 Evals
Our annual Georgia Fall Preview camp was packed with talent across all 16 teams that competed. We roll out our player reports with help from our team coaches and staff of evaluators. We continue with Team 11.
Jarred Godfrey, Sandy Creek, SF, 2018: The 6-foot-4 wing is an above average athlete who proved himself as a scorer from the wing to the rim. Godfrey also showed he is a player who understands team defense and where to be in rotations.
Shaikim Jenks, Archer, SG, 2018: The theme of the camp was accountability to your teammates and those around you and Jenks bought into that. We liked his approach to the camp and was selfless with his play and interaction with those around him.
George Maslennikov, PF, Holy Spirit, 2018: One of the top overall performers on the day Read about it HERE.
Jalyn McCreary, F, Kennesaw Mountain, 2019: The sophomore from Kennesaw Mountain High School was one of the top overall performers from our Georgia Fall Preview and a major storyline throughout the weekend. You can read more about his performance HERE from his Saturday showing.
James "Trey" Stevens, G, Hillgrove, 2017: The sneaky athletic guard played as hard as anyone we saw all day at camp. The 6-foot-1 guard came in with a purpose to empty the tank and accomplished his goal of doing just that. He’s a strong rim attacker and crafty with the dribble to keep defenders on their heels. Stevens should be in line for a good senior season at Hillgrove.
Sayvon Traylor, SF, Rockdale County, 2017: The strong-bodied wing was a load to guard and he powered defenders with his frame to get into the paint for mismatches against smaller defenders.
Jaden Young, G, Liberty County, 2019: When you come up through the ranks of a state championship program, you learn quickly how to play hard and play with purpose. Young did a nice job of running through the drill work with great intent and found opportunities to score, defend, pass and rebound in the game settings.
