Bryant buys into the Blazers
If you wanted to find UAB head coach Rob Ehsan in July, all you had to do was locate where the Jacksonville Magic were playing. You could find the first year head coach sitting on the sideline or the baseline.
Ehsan spent a good part of July watching and recruiting Scootie Bryant, a dynamic and aggressive floor general from the Providence School. His persistence paid off in a big way late Tuesday night.
Bryant announced his commitment to the Blazers on Twitter.

"UAB felt like home and the coaches and staff have been nothing but loyal and truthful to me," Bryant said in regards to his commitment. "I was their No. 1 priority at my position, unlike other schools."
"Coach Ehsan envisions me being a face of the program and being a great leader that can help UAB win a national championship."
UAB wasn’t alone in the race for his services. Clemson head coach Brad Brownell actively recruited Bryant. Georgia and Iowa State were also very much involved.
Bryant has been a long time top performer at our HoopSeen.com events over the years.
