Jalyn Patterson Commits to LSU
In recruiting, sometimes you just know. For Jalyn Patterson, he just knew on Sunday morning. The Montverde Academy starting point guard decided it was time to end his recruitment during a visit to Louisiana State University.
Patterson said he wanted to find a place where he could become a better basketball player and found that during his time talking to the Tiger coaches.
"I chose to commit to LSU because of the relationship I had with coach (Johnny) Jones and the team," Patterson said via text message on Sunday morning.
This is the second straight year where the Tigers have dipped into the Atlanta Celtics program. Patterson, who played at Milton High School in north metro Atlanta, joins Savannah native Tim Quarterman.
Patterson also visited Saint Louis and George Mason.
