Lake City Spotlight: Kohl Roberts
ACWORTH, GA -- Holiday tournaments provide a great stage for unsigned players to showcase their skills and gain attention from collegiate programs. The Lake City Classic at Allatoona is no different, with a number of unsigned seniors that are looking to make their mark and leave an impression on coaches. One of those seniors is Riverwood power forward Kohl Roberts.
In the opening round of the Lake City Classic, Roberts poured in 21 points in a double-double effort in front of a number of Divison I and Division II coaches.
Roberts is a 6-foot-6 power forward that plays the game with a high motor and is relentless on the glass. He is Mr. Consistency as far as players in Georgia are concerned, and is almost a guaranteed double-double every night.
Roberts tells HoopSeen that he is currently hearing from Navy, Tennessee Tech, High Point, Samford, and a number of Division II schools, in particular Georgia College and a number of the Peach Belt Conference schools.
He has not yet set a timetable for his decision and does not currently have any visits planned, but he tells HoopSeen that academics are a big priority for him in his decision.
