Fall Preview Spotlight: Joshua Jackmon
Several guards really proved their worth over the weekend at the Fall Preview. Put 2017 Miller Grove (GA) point guard Joshua Jackmon in that category. The junior showed his relentless attitude and made an impact on both ends of the floor, making him a top performer from the event.
Jackmon, a 6-foot-1 guard, has become notorious in the Peach State for his disruptive defense and energy. He showcased that during each game, as he matched up with the opposing team’s top perimeter threat. On the offensive end, he lived in the lane and made plays for himself and his teammates.
College coaches have begun to pique their interest in the physical guard. Alcorn State has already extended an offer to Jackmon, while several other schools are showing heavy interest.
“South Alabama, Georgia Southern, VMI, Texas State, North Florida, and Florida Gulf Coast are interested,” Jackmon told HoopSeen.com.
As Jackmon continues to be a terror on the defensive end of the floor, expect him to add more scholarship offers during the high school season on a loaded Miller Grove squad.
