Quick tips to help you at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Gibbons

We are excited about your team coming to the 2013 Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions this weekend at the Suwanee Sports Academy. Here are a couple of notes to help you and your team jump right into the action.

  • Facilities will open to teams at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
  • Teams will be able to check-in at their game venue or Suwanee Sports Academy prior to their game on Friday.
  • All certified coaches must check-in with proper identification. If the coach is not certified he/she cannot sit on the bench or receive an admission band.
  • The mandated NCAA educational session viewing times begin at 6 p.m. on Friday and will be shown every 30 minutes only at Suwanee Sports Academy. The session resumes on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. All teams must attend a session or risk forfeiting all of their games. The session is only required for the 17, 16 and 15 and under teams.
  • Admission is $10 a day (Friday through Sunday). Children under 12 are free.
  • Our main trainer will be located at Suwanee Sports Academy all weekend. If a player needs anything taped, the athlete must provide the pre-wrap and tape.
  • Buses must drop off players at the marquee with flagpoles at front of Suwanee Sports Academy. Please do let buses come into the SSA parking lot because they will not be able to exit due to congestion.
  • If you have any questions about the event (game results, schedule times, venue addresses, etc.), please use Twitter for real-time conversation. Use the #Gibbons hashtag on Twitter and Instagram to join the conversation.
  • The top team listed on the bracket is the home team.

Safe travels and best of luck!
