Rance Mckenzie, Lesson Learned Elite - Rance McKenzie continued to make a strong case as one of Georgia’s more underrated guards this weekend at #AtlantaJam. The skilled floor general controlled the pace, made good reads out of the pick-and-roll, and consistently created offense for himself and others. McKenzie scored the ball at a high level throughout the weekend, finishing with performances of 27 and 23 points. His shot-making ability, confidence, and feel for the game continue to stand out every time he takes the floor. -Mekhi Mckinney

Ian Allen, Tennessee Tigers - The blue-collar, bring your lunch pail prospect that I have been watching for a couple of weekends now was again solid throughout the weekend. Allen is a workhorse out on the floor, coming up with the loose ball, rebounding and defending. On the offensive side, he can get into the paint off the dribble and get baskets at the rim. Allen helped the Tigers go 2-2 on the weekend at The Atlanta Jam. - Justin Byerly

Gio Ramos, Grassroots Elite - Soft touch around the rim and good size. The Cleveland, Ohio product was steady all weekend long and was part of an overall balanced team. Ramos is a guy that can give you double-digit points and rebounds. He is active on the glass and can start the break off the rebound. - Justin Byerly

Noah Kauffman, Shockers 2027 - Kauffman is one of the engines behind this Shockers, 2027 edition. He is a skilled guard who knows how to lead a team and handle the ball. He can rebound well for his position and led the Shockers to a 2-2 record for The Atlanta Jam. I think Kauffman is in for a solid rest of the summer and will start to see some coaches come around for his senior season. - Justin Byerly

Jimmy Mattox, Atlanta Strikers - Unsigned 2026 F Jimmy Mattox has had a fantastic Spring following a 1st team All-Region Senior Season. He finished the weekend at Atlanta Jam as one of the top scorers in the 17U division. He uses his 6”4 frame well and invites contact and finishes through it regularly. Time and time again he delivered a bucket when his team needed it and was consistently active on the defensive end, altering shots and securing rebounds.

Jacen Hamm, BC Elite - Playing up a class over the weekend, the 2028 prospect Hamm looked like he belonged. Physically he is ready to play an age group up and the same with his skillset. In the first game we saw Hamm, he scored 24 points. He followed that up throughout the weekend all while playing up a division.

Canaan Gedeon, Wellington Wolves - Class of 2027 guard Canaan Gedeon put together multiple 20-point performances this weekend and proved to be one of the more productive guards in attendance. Gedeon scored it at a high level all weekend, using his pace and ability to change speeds to keep defenders off balance. He got to his spots consistently and was comfortable pulling up from mid-range or finishing through traffic. Along with the scoring, he impacted the game on the glass from the guard position and made good reads finding teammates for easy looks. Productive, poised guard that continues to make a name for himself. - Mekhi McKinney

Rylan Wahl, HoopAthens - Smooth scoring lefty that has size for the guard spot. Good shooter from outside and is good at getting into the lane. With his size and shooting ability, Wahl is going to be a name to keep track of. He is under control and gets to his spots that he knows he can score from. Quick first-step to get into the paint and make a play. - Justin Byerly

Jaylin Brown, TWU - Our team has been familiar with Jaylin Brown from his eye-popping stat-lines & winning ways at Newnan High School but it was a great opportunity for us to see him on our platform with college coaches in the building at Atlanta Jam.

Brown caught one of the best dunks of the weekend on a baseline drive that wow’d those on Court 5 & now on social media as the film is going viral. Brown is a 6’5” Guard who has already scored over 1000 points in his HS career at Newnan. Look for him to be a name very popular with college coaches as he has the frame, athleticism, & production that’ll make him an attractive recruit for the Class of 2027 in GA.

Monte Colvin - DBE - One of the easiest ways to describe Monte Colvin is that he is a DAWG. The Thomasville HS product came into Atlanta Jam and flustered opponents with his aggressiveness on the defensive end and his ability to score by finishing strong at the rim.

The 6’4” CG used his size & athleticism to own the offensive boards and to create extra opportunities at the rim. NAIA Thomas University has offered Colvin already and his play this weekend has our team expecting more colleges to come his way soon.
