2026 Atlanta Jam: Top Performers 16U Pt. 1

SUWANEE, GA - In a talent-packed Atlanta Jam with college coaches everywhere, much of the priority is on 17u for recruiting but our team was able to evaluate a ton of 16u guys that coaches & scouts will want to put on their radar asap. Without further adieu, here are our Top Performers from the 16u division with names featured from all across the southeast:

Cole Amonett, Tennessee Tigers (HSA) - We have put a lot of ink out on Amonett since the start of the travel season. The 6-foot-1 prospect is a prototypical Tiger’s guard that excels on both ends of the floor. One attribute that stands out to me for the next level is his ability to rebound and rebound well for his position.

He is a smooth operating floor-general that understands his position while also getting baskets when he sees the chance. Amonett is a strong defender that keeps his man in front and causes steals. On Sunday, his pull-up jumper game was his most used weapon. He’s a guard college coaches will be looking at because he doesn’t turn the ball over and his high basketball IQ. - Justin Byerly

Brantley Addison, YBG (HSA) - 2029 forward Brantley Addison was one of the more intriguing young prospects playing up in the 16U division this weekend at #AtlantaJam. The 6’5 forward competed with a high motor and never backed down from the older, more physical competition. Addison controlled the paint, rebounded at a high level, and consistently made winning plays on both ends of the floor. He finished strong around the basket, showed nice touch inside, and also stepped out to knock down perimeter shots. Addison’s blend of size, toughness, and versatility continues to make him a name to keep tracking in Georgia’s 2029 class. - Mekhi McKinney

Luke Clark, We Play Basketball (HSA) - When combing through the 16U division scoresheets the first night, you always take notice of seeing 20+ point outings as scorers to circle throughout the weekend. Sometimes it is an outlier scoring night, that was not the case with 2029 G Luke Clark.

Clark is probably one of, if not, the best shooter in the entire HSA. He finished with over 25 PPG at Atlanta Jam and showcased an unlimited range out to almost half court. The sky is the limit for Luke playing up in the 2028 division and is one you will want to buy stock in now. As one of our media guys said this weekend after his final game “bro torched”.

Brody Pryor

Brody Pryor, Cereal Killers (HSA) - Brody Pryor was a major reason for Cereal Killers’ success this weekend at #AtlantaJam. The small-ball big man impacted the game in a variety of ways, doing all of the little things that help teams win. Pryor scored efficiently around the basket, using his footwork, strength, and patience to create quality looks in traffic. He also served as a secondary playmaker, making smart reads with the ball in his hands and consistently putting teammates in good positions to score. Add in his physical screening, relentless motor, and toughness on both ends, and Pryor proved to be one of the toughest competitors in the gym. A true winning player who brings energy and production every time he steps on the floor. - Mekhi McKinney

Samari Pettus, UpNext Elite (HSA) - UpNext Elite (HSA) finished their Atlanta Jam weekend 4-0 and took prime position in the 2028 HSA standings. A large reason behind this was 2028 6’4 F Samari Pettus.

Game after game at Atlanta Jam, Pettus wrecked opponents' game plan defensively with his non stop activity leading to easy buckets in bunches. On offense, Pettus is elite in transition using his athleticism to finish in and around anyone in his way. His improvement already this Spring is noticeable at each event. He is absolutely one of these players that blows up in June and July leading into a massive Junior season.
