Elite 72 Co-MVP's: Xavier "KJ" Barber & Emmanuel Ouedraogo
Co-MVP: Xavier “KJ” Barber
Xavier “KJ” Barber was electric all day, walking away with a championship and Co-MVP honors. He proved to be the ultimate X-factor, playing with great burst, confidence, and creativity while constantly making plays on both ends of the floor. His quick first step and crafty handle kept defenders and spectators guessing at what he’d do next.
KJ had a strong AAU season with Norcross Heat and carried that momentum into the camp season, capitalizing on every opportunity — especially during our Fall Preview Camp. Earning Co-MVP at Elite 72 only adds to his rising stock. With his confidence, athleticism, and playmaking ability, Barber is primed for a huge sophomore campaign at Lanier Christian and will be one of the top names to watch in Georgia’s 2028 class.

Co-MVP: Emmanuel Ouedraogo
Standing at 6’10 as a freshman from The Wilson Academy, Emmanuel Ouedraogo showed why his potential is through the roof. Few players can dominate a camp defensively the way he did. His timing, instincts, and presence around the rim anchored his team’s defense and set the tone all day. Offensively, glimpses of what’s to come were clear — Ouedraogo has all the tools to become a complete two-way force. His play earned him Co-MVP honors and helped lead his team to a Camp Championship. The Wilson Academy is stacked with young talent, and Ouedraogo will be a cornerstone piece to watch this season.
