“Cool Under Pressure” – Rance McKenzie | Lesson Learned Elite (10th Grade)

Rance McKenzie was one of the driving forces behind Lesson Learned Elite’s championship win in the 10th Grade division. He capped off a strong weekend with 10 points in a gritty 49–48 title game victory over UWIN Serventz, showing poise in the closing moments.

 

Throughout the tournament, McKenzie did exactly what you want from a lead guard—he scored when needed, facilitated when it mattered, and stayed in control. He dropped 15 points in the semifinal and kept the offense flowing with smart reads and timely decisions. Rance doesn’t need to be flashy to be effective—he’s reliable, steady, and knows how to run a team. A name to know moving forward.

Bobby Harpring ran the show for Hoop Atlanta with confidence and leadership. In their dominant 59–32 win over Lesson Learned Elite, Harpring scored 23 points and set the tone with his playmaking and pace.

 

Earlier in the tournament, he controlled the game against the Georgia Suns, leading his squad to a 44–28 win while showcasing his shooting range and high IQ. Harpring’s presence as a floor general kept Hoop Atlanta in rhythm. He plays the game with purpose and poise, and he made a clear impact every time he touched the ball.

 

“Scoring Machine” – Chace North | Team All In (2026)

Chace North caught fire at the Georgia Cup Finals, turning in one of the most electric scoring weekends of the event. He dropped 30 points in Team All In’s win over Georgia Stars Elite, then followed it up with 28 against Classic City Ballers.

 

His athleticism and toughness were on full display in a 24-point performance against Georgia Suns, where he attacked the rim and finished through contact. Whether pulling up from deep, slashing to the basket, or making plays in transition, North showed he’s a complete scorer with the confidence and ability to take over games. The 2026 guard made a big-time statement.

Landon Malone brought versatility and impact to UWIN Serventz’s run to the championship game. The lefty forward did a little bit of everything—rim-running for easy buckets, finishing strong through contact, and rising for highlight-reel dunks.

 

Malone also showed a high IQ from the high post, reading the floor well and picking his spots offensively. He drew contact, lived at the line, and made his presence felt on both ends. With his size, athleticism, and decision-making, Malone stood out as a player with clear next-level potential.

 

“The Big Problem” – Kade Morris | Redline Basketball Academy

Kade Morris proved to be a major mismatch all weekend. Standing out as the biggest body on the floor, he did everything you’d expect—controlling the glass, cleaning up around the rim, and creating second-chance points.

 

But Morris took it further. He knocked down step-back threes, hit defenders with counters, and even made plays off the dribble. His skill set was on full display and helped power Redline Basketball Academy to a Georgia Cup Championship. Morris showed he’s not just big—he’s skilled, and he’s only getting better.

 

“Mr. Consistent” – Christian Atkins | HoopKlip

Christian Atkins was as steady as they come during HoopKlip’s six-game stretch at the Georgia Cup Finals. He posted double-digit points in every game, with totals of 17, 17, 12, 10, 13, and 17, showing his ability to stay locked in from start to finish.

 

Atkins was aggressive when attacking the rim and smart in picking his spots as a shooter. In a 67–49 win over Lesson Learned Elite, he powered through defenders for tough finishes, while in another win over FCA Stars – Varon, he let it fly from deep with confidence. His consistency and versatility made him one of HoopKlip’s most reliable weapons all weekend.
