Connor is a quick point guard that plays much bigger than his 5’10 frame. The Creekside HS Guard displayed the ability to gain the defenses attention and hit open teammates. Murphy also has an extremely fluid, nice-looking shot.

Cool, Calm & Collected. Vertino is an extremely smart, old-school point guard that doesn’t let the game speed him up and is always under control. Time and time again, he made the right play whether that was a pass to keep the ball moving or knocking down an open shot. He showed a clutch factor with a super deep 3 pointer to send our last game into OT.

McCarthy is a smooth scorer that gets it done in a variety of ways. If you leave him open from deep, he’ll make you pay but close out too fast and he will blow by you and showcase a natural touch in the paint. Engin is also a fantastic rebounder for a guard, multiple times getting boards over bigger players. Engin is a player to watch this year with Marist.

Sumner was one of the toughest players at the Elite Preview. Tough finisher, tough on defense, tough all around. In a camp setting, defense can be hard to come by at times but not for Tyson, who took pride on defense all day causing several turnovers. One of the best on ball defenders at the camp.

Looney had one of the quickest first steps at the Elite Preview. Once he decided to make a move to the basket the defense was a step behind. The Landmark Christian Guard is also a more than capable on ball defender, frequently causing ball handlers to pick up their dribble early.

Iverson is no stranger to our HoopSeen stage as he has caught the attention of our media team at several of our events. He is a super athletic guard that is fun to watch score the ball, and he does it in a variety of ways. Getting to the basket is easy for him and any shot he decides to take is makeable for him. He was a stock riser this spring and looks to continue that this High School season

Oribabor was another Freshman at the Elite Preview. Jace is a physical point guard that uses his body well. He displayed an ability to handle the ball and make high difficulty passes as well.

Another intriguing prospect, which seems to be a theme with Notre Dame Academy. Jakobi was the most physically impressive player at the camp. At 6’5 and growing he moves great for his size. He has a high motor and runs rim to rim essentially every possession.
