The 2024 version of the HoopSeenW Preview camp is officially in the books and this year’s group came on strong on Saturday at Suwanee Sports Academy. With some high-level talent and depth, there’s a lot to digest from the action.

Lauryn Cooper is no stranger to the Top Performer List here with HoopSeenW. Every year she consistently shows up and shows out at this camp. When Cooper touches the court, she instantly makes her team better throughout the game. High IQ, with the ability to get to her spot on the floor. Her passing ability and variety of ways to finish at the rim clearly separates her for everyone in the gym.

Back like she never left. Kaleigh Heywood returns to the HoopSeenW Preview ready to showcase just how complete her game is. Heywood is an immediate leader when she is on the court. She makes a way to get herself and her teammates in the best possible situation score on every possession. Great communicator. This past Saturday she displayed her ability to score at all three levels, with midrange being nearly perfect. Heywood stayed on the offensive glass, using her strength and craftiness to get easy putbacks. Overall, a great day for Kaleigh and what looks like the start to a good season for Collins Hill.

Creekside's 6' PF, Kiana Harvey is a rim-to-rim runner. She uses her size and power very well around the basket. Harvey played extremely well in the pick and roll game with a couple of stop and pops and tough finishes through contact. She is a playmaker with the ball but also very smart at getting to her spots, making it easier for her teammate to create or get her the ball. Kiana Havery will be making some noise in her upcoming junior season.

The 5'6 PG from Discovery High School, Jade Jones came to this camp Saturday and made a statement! Jones utilized her quickness not only to get to the baskets off the dribble, but she was a defensive nightmare. She is in attack mode with the ball and gets downhill easily. Her shooting from behind the arc was impressive as well, we are expecting a huge sophomore season from Jones!

Junior forward out of Collins Hill, Disaya Reid impressed the staff right away with her niche for grabbing rebounds both offensively and defensively in every game. Reid runs the floor very well, always looking to score. Her aggressiveness gets her a lot of points from putbacks, but she does not hesitate at taking an open shot. Reid nearly averaging a double-double in our fall league this season, definitely excited to see how she helps Collins Hill this upcoming season.
