HoopSeen Elite Preview: Top Performers Part I

The 2024 version of the Elite Preview camp is officially in the books and this year’s group came on strong on Sunday at Suwanee Sports Academy. With some high-level talent and depth, there’s a lot to digest from the action.

Following the event, we polled our coaches and staff on their top performers from the day. Meet the first wave of top performers from the event…

It was easy to see from the very start of the camp why Ty is a consensus top 2027 player in the Southeast. He stood out immediately. Ty is a combo guard that gets to the rim at will and can knock down both mid-range and 3 point shots. Several coaches commented that he looked more like a Senior than a Sophomore while playing and applauded his maturity. As the camp progressed, he got all of his teammates involved and became a true floor general for his team. If there was a camp MVP it would go to Ty.

Cameron Cannon

Another top 2027 in the Southeast, Cameron Cannon is an absolute flame thrower and easily one of the best shooters not only at the Elite Preview, but in the state. Catch and shoot, off the dribble, off balance, he displayed the ability to hit a deep shot under any circumstance. His shooting coupled with his crafty finishing made him a no brainer top performer at the camp. Expect a big Sophomore season from him at Lovett.

Robert Fowler

In a camp with a surplus of high level guards, Robert stood out as the most physical guard at the Elite Preview. The 6 foot 3 North Cobb Christian guard craved contact and had defender after defender bounce off him during his attack of the rim. Several times on the day he showed the ability to snag a rebound over taller players and fly down the court for a coast-to-coast finish. He also is able to use his frame on the defensive side of the ball to bully smaller guards.

Noah Hawkins

Hawkins' passion was on full display during the Elite Preview. He is a vocal guard not afraid to mix it up on either end of the floor. He proved his clutch factor hitting a deep game winner during our situation portion of the camp. Noah is a lightning quick guard that was impossible to keep out of the paint Once in the paint he had multiple difficult, crafty finishes. Noah was our most competitive, scrappy player at the camp
Brady McNally

A camp coach favorite. We saw it all season on our platform with the Auburn Raptors and the Elite Preview was no different. Brady makes it extremely hard on his matchup both offensively and defensively. Even in a camp setting, there are no plays off. Time and time again, Brady is around the rim, taking contact and finishing strong. He is the type of player every team wants to have, and nobody wants to play against.
