Atlanta Jam Top Performers: 17U, part II
SUWANEE, GA - The NCAA Live Period lives in the Peach State and the 2024 edition of the Atlanta Jam unveiled a number of players worthy of a deep dive on the recruiting front. Our staff rolls out part II of our top overall performers.
The Alabama High School state champion in high-jump can hoop too. Stovall, a 6-foot-5 guard, was tremendous today for We Play Basketball. He has the size to play at the next level at the guard spot and he can make defenses play honestly with his ability to step-out and knock down shots when he isn’t going to the rim with power. He can hurt the opposition in a lot of ways and his pull-up jumper is another weapon in his arsenal that defenders were having trouble stopping. - Justin Byerly
The 6’6 forward stands out immediately with his height and frame, plus his ability to make plays off the dribble. Holloway can rebound and take the ball up the court himself where he showed solid playmaking skill and found open teammates. With his physical frame, he was able to impose himself when inside. Holloway also showed glimpses of a jumper, hitting pull-up and spot-up jumpers. - Nick Nelson
Wellington Wolves Select guard Landen Harwood left his mark at Suwanee Sports Academy with his ability to put the ball in the basket. The rising senior hovered around the 20 points per game mark throughout the weekend, making multiple three-point attempts each time out. While he can make shots at a high rate, he also does the little things that convert to wins. He took pride in rebounding and defending and his team was rewarded. - Garrett Tucker
Police came into the Atlanta Jam as one of the best available players in the field. He only confirmed those thoughts and sentiments this weekend with his production. The lanky 6-foot-7 forward was a consistent double-double threat with his scoring and rebounding. There were plenty of times where he pulled down defensive rebounds and initiated the fast break on his own, creating opportunities for himself and teammates. Police’s offensive and defensive versatility are both off the charts and college programs took note of each this weekend. - Garrett Tucker
