2024 Bama Jam: 16U Top Performers, Part I
Yet another Bama Jam is in the books, and like the previous renditions of the event, there were plenty of standout players and performances. We’re beginning our post-event coverage with our top performers from the 16U division, where plenty of players lived up to expectations.
Here’s our first installation of our top performers from the 16U division…
Michael Stanford, 2026 F, Pro One Select Acuff: Stanford is a 6-7 forward that made his presence known on both ends of the court in the paint. He crashed the boards hard and was a shot eraser on the defensive end. He finished around the rim with both hands on the offensive end with a very soft touch. - Jeff Roberts
Ar’Mari Towns, 2026 F, SMB 2026: Towns is a freakishly athletic wing that plays above the rim. He threw down a windmill on a break in one of the games and collected a few head taps along the way. He knocked down several three-pointers during the event. He brings good energy to the court and will be a high-level athlete to keep an eye on this summer. - Jeff Roberts
Eli Bannister, 2026 G, We Play Basketball: Bannister is a tough guard that showed he can score on all levels. The 5-11 guard knocked down some really nice jump shots. He may have looked even better when he was driving and dishing or kicking to the open man. - Jeff Roberts
Pearce Boone, 2026 WF, BARS Elite: Boone was one of the most polished and skilled scorers we had in the 16U division. The skilled, 6-foot-5 forward can score the ball in a variety of different ways from multiple spots on the floor. Boone did a phenomenal job of showcasing his ability to score from all three levels all weekend. Don’t be surprised to see the sophomore pick up some interest going forward. I can see him excelling in a Princeton style offense at the next level. - Garrett Tucker
