NCISAA Live Period Standouts : Part III
The June live period for high school programs is always a good way to see guys at a different view with their high school team after seeing them for much of the spring with their travel team. It's a good evaluation pre-cursor to see how they play in a different setting with different teammates. Let's take a look at some of the action from the three-day event from this past weekend at Greensboro Day.

Jaylen Claggett, Cannon School - Two offers since the last live period, Houston Christian and Fredonia State for Claggett after his play sparked some college coaches to make a move. Claggett is a 2025 prospect that can play either guard spot. He is a guy that can make shots. Mid-range out to the three-point line consistently. He has a good feel for the game and can finish around the rim when he gets into the lane. He was a big reason in BSA Supreme's phenomenal run through the travel season and them knocking off shoe team after shoe team.
Nik Edwards, Greenfield School - An athletic wing that can get the momentum swinging in the right direction with one of this powerful dunks either in transition or off the rebound. He has some length to his frame and has good timing as a rebounder and a shot-blocker. What sets him apart for playing at the collegiate level is his athleticism and his ability to cause problems on the defensive side of the ball.
Madden Collins, Christ School - The transfer from Irmo (SC) High School to Christ School comes from a South Carolina program that has long been one of the best in the state. Collins played with the Upward Stars organization over the travel season and will fit right in at Christ School. He showed he has the ability to be a big-time threat from the three-point line with his shooting at the NCISAA live period event. He can take some of the pressure off of Keenan Wilkins at the guard spot, can handle the ball and make good decisions with the ball in his hands.
Draven Pilson, Forsyth Country Day - Pilson is going to knock down shots from the outside, you can bet on that. He has a really nice looking shot with the textbook form and the follow-through. Once his feet are set, that shot has a good chance of going in. With his size, he is able to get rebounds and get scores off of misses. He has some explosion in his step and with his shooting, it creates problems with the defense causing them to have to come out and guard him.
Q Williams, Forsyth Country Day - Every team needs a guy that can handle the ball in tough situations. They need a guy that can penetrate the lane and make the dish along with being able to make shots when the defense collapses. Q Williams is that guy for Doug Esleeck's squad at Forsyth Country Day. He is the motor for this squad and he looks like he can play at the next level while only being in the class of 2026. He has a lot of time to fine-tune a lot of the things that he already does so well.
