Tucker dazzled at Gibbons with his play as a point guard. The 6-foot-2 floor general combined his cerebral play and passing to go along with his slick scoring ability. The sophomore did a nice job of delivering timely passes to teammates in scoring position, especially out of pick-and-roll opportunities. When he wasn’t dishing things off, Tucker was converting finishes at the rim off of his quick first step. He showed he was one of the better point guard prospects in the 16U age group. - Garrett Tucker
When you talk about making an impact without scoring, you have to mention Neal. The wiry, 6-foot-6 forward impacted each game for his team with his motor and activity on both ends of the floor. He set the tone for the Atlanta Xpress all weekend, headlined by his defensive pressure and knack for finding loose balls. It will be interesting to watch Neal’s recruitment take shape over the next calendar year. His versatility and motor translate to wins on the floor. - Garrett Tucker
I just happened to catch this Celtics squad quite a bit this weekend. Them playing deep into the tournament certainly helped. Zach Foster was as good as anyone on the team—and in the 16U division—all weekend. Long, athletic and the guard spot, Foster used his physical tools on both ends of the floor. He’s as versatile on defense as he is on offense. His shot making showed up time and time again over the weekend and was part of the reason why they made it to a championship game. It’s not hard to see why D1 schools are offering him early. He could continue to rise over the next year or so. - Josh Tec
Every good team needs a threat on the wing and with this incredibly long and versatile Upward squad, Dunbar found his niche as a perimeter threat. He was dialed in from deep and was a constant threat to drill the three-pointer. At 6-foot-4, he used his size to get above close out defenders and knock down the shots with ease. - Justin Young
When you watch Judah Nation—any of their teams—you know you’re going to see something good. When I got to see their 16U team in person and subsequently on film, Austin Leslie was terrific. He brings 6-foot-6 size to the wing, and his shot making is where he’s best. Leslie can connect from all over the floor. He was especially lethal when in the high-post, but his 3-point shot is money as well. He’s a player to keep an eye on. His size and skill set are in demand at the next level. - Josh Tec
