2023 Georgia Cup II 16U champs: Georgia Gators

SUWANEE, GA — The Georgia Gators beat Middle Georgia Supersonics 75-58 to claim the 16U championship at the Georgia Cup II on Sunday afternoon. 

Miles Georgge led the way with 24 for the Gators. Jaelen Cheaves shined on the big stage as well with a 20-point game while Dallas Duffie added 10 points. 

For the Supersonics, Ken Myles showed out—as he had done all weekend—and dropped 27 in the championship game. 
The Georgia Gators are a first-year program, and they opened their HoopSeen history with a 6-0 weekend in which they won every game by 10 or more. That’s quite the introduction.
