Spring Story Starter: Chaundee Brown
One of the most talented 16U teams to come through the doors at Suwanee Sports Academy this spring has been Southeast Elite (FL). Loaded with talent, many different players have made an impact on the court. However, 2017 Orlando (FL) Dr. Philips shooting guard Chaundee Brown started his story this spring.
Brown, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard, has been one of the best-rounded prospects we have seen this spring. He scores, rebounds, and defends as a guard. Several schools have taken notice of his talent.
“I have offers from UCF, UAB, and Northern Arizona. Florida State, Florida, Alabama, Cincinnati, Kansas State, Vanderbilt, Clemson, Memphis, and Virginia, and Georgia are interested,” Brown told HoopSeen.com.
Georgia and Florida State were the first to directly contact Brown when June 15th rolled around Monday morning. More coaches are expected to contact him as the day goes on.
The talented scorer has raised a lot of eyebrows with his play this spring. He is beginning to become a national name. His latest accolade proves that.
Brown was invited to the Nike Elite 100 this past weekend, a camp featuring some of the top underclassmen in the country. It echoes how productive his AAU season has been thus far.
“I would say my spring went pretty good. I’ve been working on my game every day with my trainer. We only lost like three games during the AAU season, so that’s good too.”
Expect many assistant coaches to send head coaches to see Brown during July. His game translates to the next level and more offers will be rolling in soon.
