In this segment of HoopSeenW's Unsigned Senior Spotlight, I'll be highlighting Langston Hughes guard, Taylor Caldwell.

Taylor Caldwell is one of the leaders of a talented Langston Hughes team. Her contributions have a lot to do with the Panthers currently sitting in second place of their region. Caldwell brings both toughness and confidence to the court; it is clear she is confident in her ability to score the ball and it shows. She is a streaky shooter that can get hot in a hurry, causing defenders to respect her shooting ability. Once the defense takes the long range shot away, she has no problems making plays off the dribble where she utilizes her strength to find her way inside the paint. She has had a solid senior campaign, currently averaging 12 ppg, five rebounds, and four steals. 

Caldwell currently holds two offers from Norfolk State and Bishop State. The toughness she can bring to the court alone will vie well for HBCUs and Division II programs looking for a player with grit. Add her ability to score and rebound and I think she can be a late steal for a program still in need of a 2022 player.
