Alabama Preview Camp Player Spotlight: Win Miller
2023 Vestavia Hills (AL) guard Win Miller was a standout at our 2020 Alabama Preview Camp last weekend, as he followed up his strong pace from the travel season with a quality session on Sunday. The sophomore continues to put his name on college coaches' early recruiting lists for the 2023 class.
The 6-foot-3 guard has the ability to play both guard spots in the backcourt with his scoring ability and basketball IQ. However, Miller impressed at the Alabama Preview Camp with his slashing ability and athleticism. He converted a number of tough finishes around the basket with his crafty finishing ability. He got anywhere he wanted on the floor and was able to do whatever he wanted with the ball in his hands.
To date, Samford is the lone offer for the Birmingham-area standout. First-year head coach Bucky McMillan extended his first scholarship offer to Miller just a few hours after being named the new head coach of the Bulldogs. The offer was impressive for Miller and his family.
"To be the first player that Coach [Bucky] McMillan offered, that means a lot. It shows that he really likes me and he is serious about me as a player," Miller told HoopSeen.com.
Virginia Tech, Ole Miss, Belmont, Lipscomb, and Liberty are among the schools showing interest in Miller right now. He visited Belmont last fall, too.
