HoopSeen Tip-Off Spotlight: Cole Middleton, HYPE
Cole Middleton continues to turn heads after a strong start to the weekend at the HoopSeen Tip-Off.
Playing with HYPE 2021 KP, the 6’7” do-it-all forward has been one of the top performers through the first two days of competition. Middleton scored 10 points on Saturday in a 62-56 win over a strong Mid-State Elite team. It was one of the best games of the day, and he was a huge reason why.
Middleton currently holds offers from Siena, College of Charleston, Presbyterian, Prairie View A&M, and Navy. He’s also drawn interest from Yale, Princeton, Cornell, and James Madison.
The Pace Academy senior said he doesn’t have a timeline set in stone for when he wants to commit to a school. Right now he’s just focused on summer ball and exploring all his options.
“I’m trying to use the AAU season to pick up my recruitment,” Middleton said. “Sometime maybe this Fall, I’ll be looking to cut down my list.”
If he keeps playing at this level, Middleton will likely have some more offers to consider.
