The Southwest Dekalb showdown featured several area schools to showcase their talents on the opening night of the high school season. Of those schools in attendance, no one featured more promising young talent than 2022 Eastside forward Chauncey Wiggins. As an assistant from Georgia Tech watched his team take the win, Wiggins talked about how it felt to be prioritized at such a young age. Wiggins spoke about his expectations for his sophomore season.
